We primarily cover fiction – especially literary, historical, contemporary, fantasy, and young adult – as well as memoirs and the occasional poetry collection. We’re especially drawn to stories with strong emotional depth, distinctive narrative voices, and engaging, well-crafted writing. Whether it’s a quiet, introspective novel or a sweeping, plot driven tale, we enjoy books that leave a lasting impression and invite readers into immersive, thoughtfully built worlds. Our reading tastes are broad, and we are always open to books that offer a fresh perspective, creative storytelling, or a compelling narrative voice. 

If you would like to submit a book for review – whether one you have written yourself, or a novel you have been meaning to read – please reach out through our contact page. It is helpful if you include the book’s title, author, publication date and a brief synopsis. If there is a specific deadline or a promotional window in mind, feel free to let us know – we do our best to accommodate, though we cannot promise coverage for every title submitted. 

Our reviews are written to reflect our genuine reading experiences. We strive to highlight both what worked for us and where we felt the book fell short, always with respect to the author’s work. We avoid spoilers unless clearly marked, and we focus on discussing writing style, structure, themes, character development, and emotional impact. We include a star rating out of five with each review to give a quick sense of our overall impression, though we always encourage readers to explore the full review for context. 

Receiving a free copy of a book does not influence our opinions, nor does it guarantee a review or endorsement. All thoughts shared are entirely our own, and we do not accept payment for positive reviews. We believe in honest engagement with literature, and we treat every book – whether purchased, gifted, or submitted – with the same level of critical care. 

We typically do not use featured images in our review posts unless clearly credited and used with permission. When we do include images, we ensure appropriate usage rights and attribution. If you ever notice an error or omission in this regard, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we are only human after all.
